I love Quizlet! I love GimKit! But it wasn't until attending GAETC (Georgia Educational Technology Conference) that I re-discovered the world of Pear Deck! The "Flashcard Factory" in Pear Deck is an awesome enrichment activity that allows for a deeper understanding of vocabulary before students complete a GimKit as a review.  

But here's the most exciting part... all 3 programs work together to help you work smarter, not harder when creating the activities!

    This was an outstanding lesson!! The Flash Card Factory really gave students a chance to use, define, explain, and illustrate the vocabulary. I felt like the students had a solid understanding of the words after participating. Also a great way to engage all learners!!

       As I prepared for my first year of being an official virtual teacher in our school system's new virtual school, I thought of ways that I can prepare my students for the future, not just academically, but also in equipping them for the innovative society in which we live today.
